Call for Papers

Invited Session on Cooperative Robotics
European Control Conference - ECC 2001

September 2001, Porto, Portugal
http://www.fe.up.pt/ecc2001/

Topics
Within the activities of the Interest Group on Cooperative Robotics of EURON, we are planning to propose a special session on Cooperative Robotics to the European Control Conference, ECC-2001, which will take place in Porto, Portugal, on September 4-7, 2001.

The aim of the session is to provide a forum for discussion and dissemination of research results and activities related to cooperative robotics within Europe. We encourage all the participants of EURON to contribute to this session.

All the submitted papers will be revised by the same set of reviewers (chosen by the ECC organizers) who, besides evaluating the quality of each individual paper, will also evaluate the coherence of the session. 4-5 contributions will be selected for the session. In case the session is not approved as a whole, individual accepted papers may still be considered, upon request to the ECC General Chairman, as regular papers.

Given the short time before the submission deadline, this initiative is only being advertised inside our EURON Interest Group. However, feel free to distribute it to other potential interested participants, as everyone is most welcome.

Submission procedure
People interested to contribute a paper should send a e-mail to M. Isabel Ribeiro (mir@isr.ist.utl.pt) by October 25, 2000 containing: title; name, affiliation, address, fax, telephone, and e-mail of each author; an abstract; and five keywords from this list.

The full version of the paper must be submitted electronically to M. Isabel Ribeiro (mir@isr.ist.utl.pt) by November 30, 2000. The paper must be formatted according to the instructions for authors given in http://www.fe.up.pt/ecc2001/. Papers should not exceed six pages in two column format. Acceptable formats are PostScript and PDF.

Please note that, should the Invited Session not be accepted (e.g., for lack of enough perticipants), your submission will still be considered as a regular ECC paper.
