Welcome!
I am an Associate Professor at the AASS Research Center,Department of Science and Technology, Örebro University, Sweden. I received my Ph.D in Computer Science in Örebro in 2006 in the field of robotic olfaction, and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. I am also affiliated with the Business Science Arena in Örebro and am project leader for the healthrobotics profile.
Research Interests
My general interests include robotics and intelligent systems. More specifically I am interested in:
- Machine Olfaction including Mobile Robot Olfaction
- Knowledge Representation and Reasoning for Sensor Systems
- Human-Robot Interaction and Social Robotic Telepresence
Teaching and Supervision
I currently co-supervise a number of ph.d students at Örebro University and affliated ph.d students at Skövde Högskolan
I have six years of university teaching level experience including both graduate and undergraduate courses.
From 2008-2010 I was the program coordinator for the International Masters in Robotics and Intelligent Systems at Örebro University.
As of 2011 I am the director of studies for all Computer Engineering programs Örebro University.
